History
Parrott Enterprises operated as a screw machine shop for nearly 20 years as a family owned an operated company before they began to manufacture adult tricycles in the early 70's. Due to the rise of gas prices in the late 70's shipping these tricycles became increasingly difficult. Jim decided to close the plant and open instead a retail bicycle shop to sell off his inventory in 1979. Jim and his wife Marie operated CT Bike Exchange on Riverside Ave in Bristol, CT for 8 years before moving to their better known location on South St Bristol, CT in 1987. It was also this same year, given the expanded building space, the Parrott's decided to build the first and only INDOOR SKATE PARK on the East Coast; which was Marie's idea after seeing the kids in the streets and thought "How great it would be to give them a place to go and keep them safe off the roads". Ct Bike has since dropped the word Exchange from their name but remain the same in providing a full service bicycle store and Skate Pro Shop for the last 29 years. The INDOOR SKATE PARK celebrated it's 20 year Anniversary last year in December 28th of 2007

Rental's get booked fast so call early. A non-refundable deposit is required. Must be 18 yrs. old or have parents present. Limit of 10 people per party. If more than 10 people attend, cost is $5 for each additional person, and 2 adults required. Bring own radio for CD's & tapes.

Take a LEFT at the end of the exit
Go 5 miles straight
At a four way light take a left onto Mountain Rd.
Go 3 lights straight (up the hill and down the hill)
and we are on the left hand side

If you hit Route 69 you've gone too far
